Every year, the Engineering team needed illustrations to compliment their poster presentations for the annual national Abbott conference to generate interest and funding their technology innovations.
I became the “go-to” person for these illustrations for technical concepts that clearly needed additional visuals to understand.
Starting with existing CAD models which I used for reference, I created new surface models, and then created cut-away illustrations to explain how the applied research might be implemented on the current platform.
I finalized the images with 3D labels and other annotations to make them easy to understand in the context of the poster.
These visuals were very well received at the conference and some of the posters won conference awards.
